Another thing I love about spending extended time with family during the holidays is all of the goings on. We enjoyed hanging out on the beach, learning Israeli line dances, hiking through the wetlands, building towers out of ABC blocks, playing in the sand, blowing bubbles out into our lagoon, and taking long (or not-so-long) bike rides together. (Just to name a few.)
Speaking of bike rides, the Okie parents brought their tandem, Abe and Bethany and Charlotte all brought their bikes, and Adam and Ellen brought their double chariot bike trailer. Aida enjoyed riding on the back of a bike in a trailer for the first time, and hubry and I enjoyed riding on the tandom - something we haven't done since before I was pregnant with Songbird.
